I’m elated to announce the highly anticipated opening of Brandy’s Hair Studio! I have made changes, gathered supplies, and taken classes to be prepared for this moment, and I ask that you read and abide by the following rules for the safety of myself, my family, my customers and yourself. Most importantly, I will only be accepting clients who have strictly followed the CDC guidelines. My father has a compromised immune system and remains high risk. My time with him is precious and I am not willing to make exceptions or compromises. Thank you for understanding the difficult position I am in. Before your appointment: If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please call to reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment - Fever - Shortness of breath - Cough - Nasal congestion - Runny nose - Sore throat - Nausea - Vomiting - Diarrrhea - Muscle or body aches - New loss of taste or smell Additionally, please reschedule your appointment if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or came into contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days. The day of your appointment: - Text or call my work phone number upon arrival and I will usher you into the building - By state law, you are required to wear a mask. Please put on your mask before entering the building - Only the person at that appointment time will be allowed inside the salon. Children under 12 years old may be accompanied by a parent - Bring only the essential items such as cell phone, keys, and form of payment (exact cash, check, or credit card) - I will be screening for any obvious symptoms and temperatures above 100.4oF with a non-contact thermometer - Once inside the building, please wash or sanitize your hands - Blow drying will not be offered at this time - Most of my services have increased by $7 or more While I diligently cleaned my studio before, I will be wiping down all my tools and frequently touched surfaces between every client. As well, I will be taking my own temperature and monitoring my own health. Your safety is one of my top concerns. I have anxiously awaited this day and look forward to having you in my chair very soon. I know these changes may seem arduous, but with time we will adjust and makes this an easy routine.
